Suvihari 2017

June 23 – June 25, 2017 Back for another performance, Canada’s Premier Polka band “The Black Forest Band” will play the field while the Jaanituli burns! Main events on Saturday, June 24th:  Volleyball: Registration at 9:30 am play starts at 10:30 am Ceremony: 3:00 pm Musical entertainment and children’s film – early evening Dance, Jaanitule Lõke, Fireworks – late evening rESTOran Hours: Friday – 6:00 pm to 1:00 am, Saturday – noon to 2:00 am, Sunday – 8:00 am to noon Ticket Prices The ticket prices for Suvhari are:  Adult – Friday $40 Adult – Saturday $35 Children 6 to 15 – $10 Children 5 and under – free Pool / Lifeguarding Lifeguarding at the pond will be provided from 8am until 3pm to add another layer of safety for the participants of Suvihari. Please do not leave children under the age of 12 unattended. The pond will be closed at 3pm to ensure respect for the ceremony. Pets We ask all of our participants to please respect our bylaws and ensure that you have your dogs on a leash and under control at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the pond or at the ceremony. Summer Camp Reminder – Early Bird Registration Deadline is May 31st

Dear friends and parents, The weather is warmer & summer will soon be here!  Fun filled Seedrioru days await!! Early bird registration deadline is May 31st. Please check out our “Register Now!” page Please register before May 31st, for the early bird rate!  (Before the deadline the weekly rate is $385, afterward $435). Registrations should done online, be postmarked May 31 or sent via email on or by May 31st including one week payment per child registered. eTransfers are accepted.   2017  Seedrioru Summer Camp Camp begins on July 2nd starting at 1 pm. Week 1:   July 2 – 9 + Mudilased +Traditional Week 2:  July 9 – 16 + Rahvalaager Week 3: July 16 – 23 +Survivor week Week 4:  July 23 – 29  +Arts and Science week             Special Themed Weeks: Mudilased: for the younger kids, 4 – 6 year olds (2-9 July  only) As always, email us about dropping in to visit for young first-timers to participate in daytime camp activities. Second Talgud – May 6th

The second Talgud of the season starts this Saturday! This year we are hoping you might help us again with more painting, pruning and repairs to prepare the site for the upcoming season! With the anticipated rain and cool weather expect some indoor work and hopefully some outdoors for those who are prepared! Eric Tiisler will be the Talgud Koordinator and will welcome you at the hall! Food is being provided by Kitcheneri Eesti Selts!   Top Jobs Raking of leaves, main entrance, cabins, basketball court Removal of branches, logs and debris from winter Pruning of vegetation around the hall and basketball hill Removal of several damaged trees from winter and trimming of overhang Painting of interior and exterior areas around the site Transport of logs, junk and leaves Cleaning of windows and floors Minor carpentry repairs to windows and trim Here is what you can bring: Rakes, chain saws, trailers, trimmers, painting clothes, carpentry tools, Estonian work ethic!   TOP Projects Spring/Summer 2017 2017 Schedule Season Date Early Spring 22-Apr-17 Spring 06-May-17 Summer 03-Jun-17 Pre – Suvi 17-Jun-17 Fall 30-Sep-17   We need help with these larger projects. March Break Camp

March Break Camp happens again! March 11-13th Cost: $55 per camper before March 7th, $60 per camper after Hopefully, we’ll have snow this time! Attached is our March break camp registration form and suggested gear list.
