Seedrioru survives based on the help of volunteers and our community. Several times per year we come together to spend the weekend maintaining and upgrading the property. Work typically starts at 9 am Saturday morning, and finishes around 6pm. Lunch is always provided, the sauna is always hot. Feel free to contact us if you wish to attend but need accommodation, as our cabins can be made available for volunteers year round.
How can you help? During all of these weekends, a job list is posted in the main hall. During the spring and summer typical jobs include gardening, brush clearing, raking, cleaning and sweeping of all cabins and buildings, painting, tree removal, carpentry projects, roofing, grass cutting, pond maintenance, setting up for camp and suvihari, and LOTS more. All skill levels are welcome!
