Here are Seedrioru’s Board of Directors for 2024

Lia Hess – President 
Lia has been a leader in many organizations within the Estonian community. Seedrioru’s summer camp program is an inspiration not only for children but also for their families and friends. We hope that anyone who comes to Seedioru will support and embrace this beautiful place as a multigenerational gathering site for all who love Estonian culture and traditions.

Tom Rebane – Vice President – Co-Camp Coordinator
Tom is a grandchild of the community that created Seedrioru and has been going there since before he can remember. He is excited to maintain an Estonian slice of life on the Grand River for his son and all others to enjoy.

Kristiina (Nieländer) Hildebrandt – Secretary 
Kristiina has lifelong memories of Seedrioru with family at the cottage, friends and camp and celebrations at Suvihari.  Drawing from experience organizing and leading various organizations within the Estonian Community, she is looking forward to helping continue the timeless traditions and shape new programs for the next generation.

Rein Pertens – Co-Treasurer 
Rein Pertens is a third generation  Seedrioru camper/director, giving  him a  unique perspective and  insight into what it takes to lead a successful camp community.





Nick Hilkewich – Co-Treasurer 
Nick has joined the board this year and is eager to help Seedrioru exceed expectations

Michelle Jones – Co-Camp Coordinator  
Michelle has joined the board this year and is eager to help Seedrioru exceed expectations.

Josh Tera – Site Supervisor/Work Coordinator
Josh has been involved in Seedrioru his whole life. Seedrioru is near and dear to his heart. Spending lots of time at the family cottages, as a camper, helping with Talgud weekends, and volunteering at Suvihari.
Josh is excited to be part of the team and to encourage the growth and improvements at Seedrioru for years to come.

Eerik Aljas – Fundraising/Special Events
Eerik has been part of Seedrioru since his time as a camper. In recent years Eerik has been a volunteer, parent of campers, and cottager.
